Working knowledge of other types of machine tools, both CNC and conventional. Conversant in Heidenhain (Preferred) or series control languages with experience in shop-floor programming in a precision engineering jobbing shop environment. Either toolmaking, fitting and machining or mechanical engineering certificate preferably with qualifications (IE Aust. Skills must include setting, operating and programming of Haas, Pinnicle, HSM & Nicholas Correa CNC milling machines and/or CNC Lathes. To be successful in the role you will need to have proficiency and experience in operating a range of precision machinery primarily with Heidenhain controls.
